CRM Lead Form Not Showing on Your Venue Website? A Troubleshooting Checklist
Why is my HoneyBook, Tripleseat or Calendly form not showing on my website?
Embedded lead forms are usually added with a small script. They disappear when something stops that script from running: a cookie-consent banner blocking it, a speed or caching plugin delaying or combining scripts, a page builder stripping the code, an outdated embed code after the CRM changed, or a security header that does not allow the CRM's domain. Testing the page in a private window and checking the browser console usually shows which one.
Detailed Forensic Analysis
Start with a private window. Open the page in a private or incognito window on desktop and on a phone. If the form shows in one and not the other, the cause is usually browser-specific: cookie consent, content blockers, or caching.
Cookie-consent banners. Many consent tools block third-party scripts until a visitor accepts. If your CRM form is classed as "marketing", couples who decline or ignore the banner never see the form. Classing the embed as necessary, or showing a direct link to the form as a fallback, solves this.
Speed and caching plugins. Features such as "delay JavaScript", "combine scripts" or "defer" can stop embed scripts from loading until a visitor scrolls or clicks, or break them entirely. Exclude the CRM's script from these features and clear the cache.
Page builders and editors. Some editors remove script tags when a page is saved, or need a dedicated "HTML" or "embed" block. If the embed was pasted into a normal text block, re-add it with the builder's HTML/embed element.
Outdated embed code. CRMs occasionally change how their forms are embedded. Copy a fresh embed code from your CRM account and replace the old one.
Security headers. If your site sends a Content-Security-Policy header, it must allow the CRM's script and frame domains. A browser console error mentioning "Content Security Policy" points here.
Always keep a fallback. Add a plain text link under the embed ("Can't see the form? Open it here") pointing to the CRM's hosted form page. Couples can still reach you even if the embed fails.
